About GreatTogether

Why GreatTogether exists

GreatTogether helps prospective parents, known donors and future co-parents meet thoughtfully, discuss expectations and make informed plans for the family they hope to build.

What we provide

We provide country-based member communities, private communication tools, practical educational guides and a collaborative Contract Builder. GreatTogether is not a fertility clinic, sperm bank, medical provider or law firm. Members should obtain qualified medical and legal advice where their circumstances require it.

Who operates the service

Mawi Digital (Eenmanszaak) operates GreatTogether from the Netherlands. Chamber of Commerce: 60042931. VAT: NL002458666B10.

Terms of Service

1. Agreement and eligibility

These terms form the agreement between you and Mawi Digital for using GreatTogether. You must be at least 18, provide accurate account information and use the service only for lawful family-building purposes. By creating an account or purchasing a product, you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.

2. Platform role

GreatTogether introduces adults and provides communication, educational and agreement-planning tools. We do not guarantee a match, pregnancy, relationship outcome, legal status or enforceability of a private agreement. We are not a clinic, sperm bank, medical provider, background-check agency or law firm.

3. Community conduct

Profiles must be honest. Harassment, discrimination, deception, coercion, commercial exploitation, requests for sexual intercourse as a donation method, and attempts to bypass safety controls are prohibited. Members must discuss relevant screening and hereditary information honestly and respect another person’s boundaries and pace.

4. Membership and payments

Paid membership renews for the selected billing period until cancelled. Prices and applicable taxes are shown before payment. Cancelling stops future renewal; access normally continues until the end of the paid period. Contract documents, identity checks and professional advice may be separate products.

5. Moderation and suspension

We may restrict content, pause features, suspend or close accounts where reasonably necessary to protect members, investigate reports, prevent fraud, comply with law or enforce these terms. We will consider context and severity. You may appeal a moderation decision through the Contact page.

6. Member responsibility

You decide whether, when and how to meet or proceed with another person. Use independent identity, medical and legal checks appropriate to your circumstances. Never send money to another member, and do not treat a badge, profile score or agreement as a guarantee of safety.

7. Liability and governing law

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, GreatTogether is not responsible for decisions, statements or conduct of members outside the platform. Dutch law applies, without removing mandatory consumer protections available in your country of residence.

Privacy & data

Controller and contact details

Mawi Digital (Eenmanszaak) is the data controller for GreatTogether. Registered address: Tesselschadestraat 5, 3314ZG Dordrecht. KvK: 60042931. VAT: NL002458666B10. Privacy requests: support@greattogether.com.

Retention

Account and profile data is kept while the account is active. After account deletion, ordinary profile data is scheduled for deletion or anonymisation within 30 days, except where limited records must be retained for fraud prevention, dispute handling, tax, accounting or legal obligations. Payment and invoice records may be retained for the statutory accounting period. Safety and moderation records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for platform safety, disputes and legal compliance, with periodic review.

Service providers

GreatTogether may use carefully selected providers for hosting, email delivery, payment processing and identity verification. Stripe processes payments and, when you choose verification, collects the identity document and selfie under its own notices. Google processes information if you choose Google sign-in. Optional analytics providers receive data only after the required consent. The current provider list and international-transfer safeguards are available through the Contact page.

Cookie Policy

Necessary cookies

GreatTogether uses necessary cookies for login, security, language preferences, account sessions and consent choices. These are required for the service and cannot be disabled through the cookie banner.

Optional analytics

Analytics cookies and tags are used only after you choose to allow analytics. They help us understand which pages and journeys work. You can change your choice through the cookie controls. Withholding analytics consent does not prevent core platform use.

Managing cookies

You can also remove cookies through your browser. Removing necessary session or preference cookies may sign you out or reset your language and consent choices. See the Privacy Policy for controller details, purposes and your rights.

Payments & refunds

Cancelling membership

You can cancel renewal from your account. Cancellation prevents the next charge and normally leaves access available until the end of the current paid period. We do not normally provide partial-period refunds unless required by law or we have charged you incorrectly.

Cooling-off rights

Consumers in the European Economic Area may have a 14-day withdrawal right for distance contracts. If you expressly ask us to begin supplying a paid service during that period, the amount payable on withdrawal may reflect the service already supplied. For immediately supplied digital content, the withdrawal right may end only after the legally required express consent and acknowledgement.

Problems and duplicate charges

Contact us promptly about duplicate charges, unavailable paid access or a document that was not delivered. We will investigate and provide the remedy required by applicable consumer law. Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer rights.

Moderation & safety

What happens when you report

A report enters a restricted moderation queue. An authorised moderator reviews the reported account or interaction, checks relevant platform records and selects a proportionate response. Possible outcomes include guidance, a warning, feature restrictions, suspension or account closure.

Privacy and response targets

Reports are shared only with people who need them for safety, investigation or legal compliance. We aim to acknowledge serious safety reports within two working days. Complex investigations may take longer. Immediate danger must always be reported to emergency services.

Fairness and appeals

We do not promise a particular outcome and may be unable to disclose confidential details about another member. A person affected by a moderation decision may appeal through the Contact page. A different reviewer should assess the appeal where practical.

Editorial Policy

Research standards

Guides are written from identified authoritative sources such as legislation, regulators, professional bodies and peer-reviewed research. Sources and jurisdiction limits should be visible on the guide. We distinguish general education from individual medical or legal advice.

Corrections

Send suspected errors through the Contact page. We assess material corrections promptly, update the page where necessary and preserve appropriate revision records. Time-sensitive legal and medical material is scheduled for periodic review.
